Lace Spinning at Beth's

Carla & I took Lace Spinning with Beth yesterday at The Spinning Loft. First Beth had to show off - because it's what she does.
But she does it with Love.
The Fabulous Abby Batt shawl blocked

Peeky-peeky Beth

Marilyn made Amy's Abby Cowl from this issue of Knittyspin from some gorgeous merino/silk

Beth modeling? She's puzzling over how to steal the cowl.
She wants all of her students to bring her gifts like this.

Knitting for a Tween

The girl is finally overjoyed with something I knit for her

Top down raglan, Rowan Cotton Tape -from my stash.
Chunky, top down, it took a weekend!
She has worn it so much that it was ketchup stains on it, and if that's not love I don't know what is.
The downside - I now have list of 8 things she wants me to design & knit for her. And you know I will.
Because of love.

Can you feel the vibrations of excitement (not not that kind Beth!) becasue Rhinebeck is less than a month away......

Here's where I've been......

Looky Knittyspin has her own front page, it gives me chills to see it. Also Amy's gorgeous design on the cover made out of Abby silk ,uuummmmmm! (Beth has it)
A perfect fornt page debut I think.

Knitty went live yesterday & the crowd went wild!
What are you going to make first? I love the cover sweater.

This issue of Knitty marks the partial debut (Amy & I shared this issue) of my new Knitty job - Ad Sales Queen.
Our former Queen Dr. Steph has gone on to different wonderful things. I'm toasting you Steph!

Saturday is Spinner's Flock & my personal countdown has started for Rhinebeck!

I'll be the one face down in fiber :-)
